Nike Won’t be Crying Later

By now I’m sure you’ve seen Drake’s highly hyped music video for his latest single, 'Laugh Now Cry Later'. The video has sneakerheads across the country fangirling over the epic shots from Nike's Headquarters.

The video has gained interest for paying homage to athletes such as Muhammad Ali and LeBron James, while featuring cameos from stars like Kevin Durant and Odell Beckham Jr. But perhaps the most famed part of 'Laugh Now Cry Later' amongst sneaker enthusiasts are the iconic shots at the Nike Headquarters. It features Drake and Instagram influencer, Aggy Abby, on an epic shopping spree, drowning in their shopping bags in front of a Nike sneaker display fit for MJ himself.


The music video not only displays Drake’s loyalty to Nike, but also provides the brand an incredible advertisement that will likely be streamed over and over. So what’s next for the industry? Does all this have Adidas in their feelings? I’ll be on the lookout for the next Sunday Service to be held at the Adidas HQ.
